ABOUT US

Redeemer Counseling offers Biblical, God-honoring, Christ-centered counseling for everyone. Our primary counselees come from Montgomery County, Tennessee and Christian County, Kentucky. We also do virtual counseling, which allows us to help people in many other states.

We are led by a board of directors who each pastor a local church. Our counselors are directly accountable to the board. Each counselor affirms the doctrinal positions of Redeemer Counseling which consists of: The Danvers Statement on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, The Chicago Statement on Inerrancy, and The New Hampshire Confession of Faith.

Our Philosophy of counseling is similar to ACBC (Association of Certified Biblical Counselors) and CCEF (Christian Counseling & Educational Foundation).

We currently operate out of Faith Family Church in Oak Grove.

COUNSELORS

  • Daniel holds a Masters of Divinity in Biblical Counseling from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been counseling since 2014 and has experience in both the local church and as a military chaplain. He loves to open the Word and watch as the truths of Scripture “click” for the Christian. He and his wife Kelsey were married in 2010 and have two children, Mabel and Sybil.

  • Kristi earnestly desires to bring hope and healing to hurting people through the truth of the gospel and sufficiency of God’s Word. Her many years of experience began with counseling in pregnancy resource centers. She also has participation and leadership experience with discipleship and soul-care ministry in the local church. She is actively pursuing certification with ACBC and Fallen Soldier’s March and trusting in the promise of 2 Corinthians 1:3-5 with a desire to share the comfort with which she has been comforted. She and her husband delight in their seven grandchildren.
